When it comes to vintage 3-ply Ludwig and Slingerland, there's no telling how long it can take to make them as solid as new. Gluing dry rotted, time-worn shells back together is unpredictable. I get deep into making these things solid and restored to their original condition. It can take a few weeks, but other problems sometimes arise, lengthening restoration time. Of course, it all depends on the drum set's condition.
